A blackening plant alone cannot guarantee consistent blackening results. Successful industrial blackening depends on correct surface preparation, pickling control, rinsing, bath chemistry, temperature control, solution movement, immersion practice and final oil sealing.
We do not simply manufacture tanks. We develop a complete blackening process system according to the customer’s actual production requirement.
Complete process sequence from surface preparation to final oil sealing.
For rust, oxide and scale removal.
Removes acid carryover.
Improves cleaning before blackening.
Proprietary chemical bath at 135°C to 160°C.
Removes chemical carryover.
Further cleaning after blackening.
Post-treatment stage as per process.
Proper drying before sealing.
Protects and seals the blackened surface.
Designed for uniform blackening, practical production flow and lower rejection.
The hot blackening bath can be equipped with a special impeller system. The impeller operates during the actual blackening cycle when material is immersed in the bath.
Controlled bath movement helps improve solution contact around the loaded components, supporting better colour uniformity and stronger blackening.
Process tanks are fabricated from mild steel and designed according to job size, basket size, batch weight and production capacity.
Semi-automatic plants use hoist-based material handling for organized movement between process tanks.
Our plant and chemical are developed as one complete production system.
Along with the plant, we supply our own proprietary hot blackening salt developed through practical industrial experience and production trials.
The blackening bath operates within a working temperature range of approximately 135°C to 160°C, depending on bath condition and application requirement.
Supplying a plant is only the beginning. Making the process stable is the real work.
Our major strength is practical blackening process troubleshooting. Rejection may occur due to surface condition, pickling, rinsing, bath temperature, chemical concentration, loading pattern, poor solution movement or improper oil sealing.
We help customers identify the actual cause instead of depending only on repeated chemical addition or trial-and-error adjustments.
Customized according to production capacity, utilities and customer requirement.
Suitable where adequate electrical power is available.
Suitable where LPG-based heating is preferred.
Suitable for locations where diesel heating is more practical.
Plant configuration is selected according to batch weight, handling and budget.
Our hot blackening process is primarily intended for low-carbon steels, medium-carbon steels and suitable low-alloy steel components.
Final blackening response may vary according to chemical composition, carbon content, alloy content, surface condition, previous heat treatment, scale condition and surface preparation. For unfamiliar or higher alloy materials, sample trials may be recommended.
